Our New Site

You are here:

You’ve probably noticed some changes about us…

And no we did not just get a haircut. We gave our website a complete makeover plus a haircut.

Have you ever considered getting a makeover? Such as changing out your old style to something new and fresh? Maybe it’s getting a new outfit to boost confidence or a change of hairstyle to gain attention. Of course, it takes a lot of effort of trying out new styles to find the one that suits best. But once you find the perfect look with the right fit, you feel like you’re ready to take the town. No one can stop you. You won’t take slack from anyone. You’re ready to crush anything in your way! …Okay, the last few sentences may be a bit of an over-exaggeration but it’s a similar feeling we experienced when we gave our website a new makeover.

We felt it was time to update our current site. While nothing was arguably wrong with our old website, we did find it was a bit too “simple”. We wanted to bring a website that had more expression, personality, and charm – just like the real version of us (well…kind of).

It’s not uncommon for websites to change. In fact, it is quite popular for teams of developers to update and change their websites regularly. This is usually an opportunity to test out new practices, APIs, and other elements currently used on the modern web.

Our plan for the revamp was simple: make our new online home a welcoming place for everyone. We designed our website specifically so anyone can stop by and view more than just our work. You can now learn a bit more about us, breakdowns of specific projects, our services, and we even added a blog (which you are currently reading).

A computer will do what you tell it to do, but that may be much different from what you had in mind.

Let’s talk about the blog a bit. You might be asking “why?”. We have tossed around the idea of a blog for some time. Besides showing company activity and maybe sharing other information that we find relevant, it is also a GREAT tool for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). If you don’t know much about SEO, it is what dictates how well search engines can find your website. When someone types in a phrase, keyword, or anything that would relate to your site, you’ll result near the top of the search with good SEO. Of course, for SEO to work, you need to include keywords you think your clients or future customers will search to find you. Words like, “digital solutions”, “Indigenous Websites”, “blockchain” or “synergy”… can you tell we might be milking this a bit?

We also see this as an opportunity to let our personalities shine. We sometimes think there is a stigma behind digital companies being geeky, boring and bland. Look, we might be geeky, but we definitely have some personality we want to share with you, especially if you have not had the opportunity to work with us.

Over the last year, we have also buffed up our media and have snapped and created many new images. We realized a lot of these images could easily be used within the context of a website. If you have walked a tour of our new site, we are proud to say that our team has taken and curated every image you have seen before you.

This post is a humblebrag. We are excited to share our new site with you and are pleased to let you know that we will be adding to this blog on a monthly basis. Be sure to check back and see what we have been up to! Who knows, maybe we will have another new “makeover” we want to brag about.
